The African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) Nigeria has strongly condemned the horrific abuse of 14-year-old Bashirayya and the stepchildren of a Sokoto High Court Judge’s wife. This case exposes child labor violations, brutal physical abuse, and a culture of impunity—all under the roof of a judicial officer sworn to uphold the law.

📢 AWLA demands:
1️⃣ Immediate, impartial investigation
2️⃣ Full legal accountability for the perpetrator
3️⃣ Protection & rehabilitation for the victims
